Buying a Laundry Franchise in Pimpri-Chinchwad or Pune: What to Check
The brochure figures to actually read, what counts as live today versus pipeline, and the questions worth asking before signing anything.
A laundry franchise in PCMC or Pune is worth evaluating on four things: the area and investment it actually requires, the royalty structure, the brochure-stated breakeven, and — separately — what the brand offers today versus what is still on its pipeline.
Start from the brochure, not the pitch
A credible franchise opportunity publishes real figures rather than talking you into a number over a call. Ask for the brochure first, read the area, fee, and royalty terms yourself, and treat anything said verbally that isn’t in that document as unconfirmed until it is.
What the BubbleIQ franchise brochure states
- Total Investment / Cost: ₹16 lakh plus GST
- Area required: 300–500 sq.ft.
- Franchise fee: ₹5 Lakh plus GST
- Project cost: around ₹5 Lakh
- Equipment cost: around ₹6 Lakh plus GST
- Royalty: 7% of gross sales
- Operational breakeven: 28 months
- ROI: 43% annually, as a brochure-stated projection — not a guarantee for any individual outlet
Separate what’s live from what’s pipeline
The brochure also names future plans — multi-service expansion (deep cleaning, repair and restoration alongside laundry and dry cleaning), central billing and CRM software with a customer app, a premium store format, and a central training centre — explicitly marked "implementation under process". These describe where the brand is building toward, not what a new outlet gets on day one, and a serious evaluation treats the two lists separately.
Questions worth asking before signing anything
- What exactly is covered by the franchise fee versus the separate project and equipment costs
- What territory exclusivity, if any, comes with the agreement
- What ongoing support is confirmed in writing, not just described in a pipeline section
- Whether the breakeven and ROI figures are brochure projections or come with any performance history behind them
