Curtains, upholstery and carpets collect far more dust than clothing and get cleaned a fraction as often — usually because they are too bulky to deal with at home rather than because anyone decided to skip them.
A schedule that is actually realistic
- Bedsheets and pillow covers: weekly.
- Towels: twice a week, and never left folded while damp.
- Quilts, blankets and comforters: at the start and end of the season they are used in.
- Curtains: twice a year, and after the monsoon if your windows face a road.
- Sofa and cushion covers: two to three times a year, more with pets.
- Carpets: annually, plus spot treatment when something happens.
Household items at BubbleIQ are priced per piece — a single bedsheet is ₹99, a double blanket ₹399 — with carpets at ₹59 per square foot and curtains at ₹39 per square foot, so a whole-house refresh can be costed in advance.
